Magnetic Base
Tensator® provides three magnetic base sizes: 175mm, 190mm, and 220mm, giving you the convenience of a movable post combined with the precision and stability normally expected from a fixed installation. Each base attaches securely to a slim floor plate, allowing posts to be removed, repositioned, or reconfigured quickly without marking or damaging the flooring.
The 175mm magnetic base is the most compact in the range. It was first created for King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), where a reduced footprint was essential without sacrificing durability or visual appeal, a strong example of Tensator’s capability to tailor solutions for demanding, high-traffic environments.

Unlike copycat products, it has an originally patented braking system that slowly retracts, allowing the webbing to fall to the floor upon release and then safely retract back into the post, significantly reducing the risk of an accident.
The Tensabarrier® has also been designed at an optimum post height of 38” tall to prevent people going under or over it, because no one likes a queue jumper! Furthermore, the military grade webbing is 0.89mm thick, making it far more durable than some competitor products!
